Anilox roller cleaning with Novaflex

ECO-NOVA was commissioned to optimise the cleaning of the in-house anilox rollers, as the current cleaner was not achieving sufficient cleaning results and had several hazard pictograms. In addition to better cleaning performance, the new cleaner should contain as few or no hazardous substances as possible.

The process for solving a cleaning problem at ECO-NOVA always follows three defined steps. This sequence has proven itself in practice and guarantees optimum service and the fastest way to solve our customers' cleaning challenges.

Step 1

Analysis & stocktaking

The anilox rollers contain deep-seated ink residues. The current cleaner contains hazardous substances and does not clean deep into the port, which means that the quality of the print suffers. The customer also wants to achieve the best possible cleaning result without hazardous substances.

Step 2

Consultancy & demonstration

On site at the customer's premises, the anilox rollers were removed after a printing process and first cleaned with the current cleaner using the usual procedure until the cloth no longer absorbed any residue. Our consultant then demonstrated several of our products on the same roller. The customer was then able to compare the cleaning results in a direct A/B comparison.

Step 3

Solution

In contrast to the current cleaner, our products removed further residues from the anilox rollers after use, achieving a pore-deep clean result. Thanks to the significantly better cleaning performance, optimum print quality can be achieved for the subsequent printing process. Novaflex also contains a significantly lower proportion of hazardous substances.
