Boiler and mixer cleaning

Residues of fats, resins, paints, masterbatch or cement remain in boilers, agitators and mixers. Eco-Nova offers cleaning agents tailored to the specific residue, material and process – many of which are not classified as hazardous according to their safety data sheets.

Cleaning mixing vessel

That’s what it’s all about

Problem and Solution

The challenge

Residues in boilers and mixers contaminate the next batch and reduce quality. Cleaning means downtime, often involving labour-intensive manual work inside the vessel. Cleaners that are too aggressive increase wear and tear, whilst those that are too weak prolong the cleaning time.

Our solution

We identify the type of residue and the material involved, and recommend cleaning agents and methods. One example is our success story on cleaning masterbatch mixing vessels using Microsolv, which is not classified as hazardous according to its safety data sheet. For mineral deposits, there are acidic cleaning agents that are labelled as corrosive.

Typical areas of application

  • Mixing vessels in plastics and masterbatch production
  • Agitators and vessels in the chemical industry
  • Concrete mixers and cement plants
  • Paint and varnish collection containers
  • Dosing and Conveying Technology

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I clean a mixing tank more quickly?
By using a cleaner specifically designed for the type of stain and allowing it to work for the correct length of time, the amount of manual work required can often be significantly reduced. We’ll advise you and carry out a test on a sample.
Which cleaner is effective against cement residue in the mixer?
Cement is a mineral substance and can be removed using acidic cleaning agents. These are labelled as corrosive and must be used with protective equipment in accordance with the safety data sheet.
Are these cleaners suitable for stainless steel?
Compatibility depends on the cleaning agent, concentration, temperature and material. We recommend using a suitable cleaning agent and carrying out a preliminary test.
Can I try out the cleaning products beforehand?
Yes. We provide free samples and, on request, demonstrate how to use them on site.

Boiler and mixer cleaning in industrial processes

In the food, chemical and construction industries, residues quickly build up in boilers and mixers. Thorough cleaning is crucial for quality and process reliability.

Typical challenges

Residues such as grease, paint or mineral deposits are difficult to remove. Cleaners that are too harsh increase wear and tear, whilst those that are too mild prolong downtime.

Solution with Eco-Nova cleaners

Our cleaners reliably remove grease, resins and cement residues whilst being gentle on the material. We tailor them to stainless steel and other materials; you can find the classification for each cleaner on the product page.
