Wall and façade cleaning

Walls and façades become soiled by the weather, exhaust fumes, graffiti, bitumen splashes or efflorescence. Eco-Nova offers cleaners that are tailored to the surface and the type of soiling – some of which are not classified as hazardous according to their safety data sheets.

That’s what it’s all about

Problem and Solution

The challenge

Facade materials such as plaster, natural stone, clinker or coatings react differently to cleaning products. Cleaning products that are too harsh or high water pressure can roughen surfaces, wash out joints or cause discolouration.

Our solution

We recommend choosing a cleaner based on the surface and the type of soiling, and always advise carrying out a test on an inconspicuous area first. For paint residues and graffiti, products such as Remonova NF or Plexinova are suitable, depending on the surface; for bitumen splashes, Bituclean is recommended – none of these are classified as hazardous according to their safety data sheets. For mineral deposits, there are acidic cleaners such as Oxinova, which are labelled as corrosive.

Typical areas of application

  • Graffiti removal
  • Facades made of plaster, stone and clinker bricks
  • Internal walls in production and storage areas
  • Bitumen splashes on walls
  • Efflorescence and mineral deposits

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I remove graffiti from the façade?
That depends on the colour and the surface. We recommend using a suitable cleaner and testing it on an inconspicuous area before cleaning the entire surface.
Will the cleaner damage my façade?
Not if selected and applied correctly. As façade materials react very differently, we always recommend carrying out a test beforehand.
What can be done to prevent efflorescence?
Efflorescence is mineral-based and can be removed using acidic cleaners such as Oxinova. Oxinova is classified as corrosive and must be used with protective equipment in accordance with the safety data sheet.
Can I try out the cleaning products beforehand?
Yes. We provide free samples and, on request, demonstrate how to use them on site.
