The requirements placed on products and production processes are becoming increasingly extensive, driven by both regulatory requirements and customer expectations. One customer may require certification that their products have been manufactured under food-safe conditions. Another demands that the cleaning agent used does not contain any substances on the SVHC Candidate List. Such requirements run throughout the entire supply chain, and thus also extend to us as the manufacturer of the cleaning agents.
Certifications from NSF and ISEGA
Several Eco-Nova cleaning products have been awarded certificates from NSF or the ISEGA Institute. These confirm their suitability for use in food environments under specified conditions. This means that many customer requirements can already be met „as standard“. Certificates are available, for example, for Meganova, Novatrax, Microsolv and Gluemex. We’d be happy to tell you what evidence is available for your application.
SVHC, REACH and other explanations
SVHCs (Substances of Very High Concern) are substances of very high concern under the REACH Regulation. The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) maintains them on the Candidate List, which is generally updated twice a year. On request, we can provide declarations regarding SVHCs, REACH and other customer-specific requirements.
This is made possible by a database of ingredients and requirements that we have been maintaining for many years. It enables us to respond quickly and reliably even to enquiries for which there is not yet a standardised certificate.
If a cleaner fails to meet a requirement
If a cleaning agent does not meet a requirement, we will work with you to find a solution that combines performance, compliance and safety.
