The customer contacted us because the use of the current solvent was no longer up to date due to the hazardous substances it contained (declaration with flame, torso and exclamation mark pictogram) and the employees should be better protected in future.
The flammable solvent was applied pure and used to clean the mixing vessels. In the mixing vessels, plastic compounds are mixed with pigments and other additives to produce special properties for the masterbatch granulate.
The customer was already aware of the advantages of Microsolv during the demonstration. In addition to an excellent cleaning effect on the most stubborn pigments, the application in a diluted mixture is a further advantage, as this saves costs and reduces emissions. In addition, the main requirement of replacing hazardous substances was met in full, as Microsolv does not contain any hazardous substances. The safety and health of employees will be significantly improved by Eco-Nova in the future.
