Cold cleaning

Cold cleaning means cleaning at room temperature – without heating the bath or the component. Eco-Nova offers cold cleaners for oil, grease, resins and adhesives in workshops and production environments; according to their safety data sheets, many of these are not classified as hazardous.

Problem and Solution

The challenge

Traditional cold cleaners often contain hydrocarbons or other solvents that are classified as flammable or harmful to health. They require ventilation, explosion protection and protective equipment. Diesel, when used as a cold cleaner, is also classified as hazardous to the environment and leaves behind an oily film.

Our solution

We recommend cold cleaners suited to the type of soiling and the cleaning method – for wiping, spraying or immersion. According to their safety data sheets, many of these are not classified as hazardous, for example Eco Degreaser, Multisolv, Microsolv NX or Nova Safe S. Try them out first with a free sample.

Typical areas of application

  • Parts cleaning in workshops and maintenance departments
  • Maintenance of machinery and vehicles
  • Spray and wipe cleaning
  • Unheated immersion baths
  • Removing resin and adhesive residues
